Registered on 5 February 1985 and has therefore been in the business of Solid Liquid separation for more than 26 years. However, in partnership with our international principal suppliers we have more than 85 years of experience in the field of solid liquid separation.
We are able to carry out laboratory and pilot scale test work for correct plant sizing and best equipment selection, to offer a complete turnkey filtration plant that includes plant design, flow sheets, detailed engineering, installation, automation, commissioning and a professional after sales service that includes spare parts and repairs.
Most commonly known in the filtration industry as SLFC, we specialises in the design and supply of industrial filtration equipment for the use in solid liquid separation.
We have supplied filtration packages for gas-to-liquids projects in Nigeria and Qatar and has been awarded major contracts by Tongaat Hulett Starch and petrochemicals giant Sasol.

SLFC started as a two-man band
and grew gradually and now employs many people. We started off doing a little repair work. Then we sold our first filter and just grew and grew.
Today SLFC is active in a range of industries, including the chemical, petrochemical, edible oil and food processing. SLFC also supply filtration technology into the mining industry, these include filtration solutions for processing of minerals and removal of excess water before the ore is hoisted up the mine shaft. This ensures that energy is not wasted in hoisting water opposed to Ore.
